AF-GL® gasket sheet the best in class!

We present a summary of calculations performed in accordance with the EN 1591-1 procedure, based on data available at www.gasketdata.org

We analyzed the force required to assembly a flange-bolt connection with a compressed fiber gasket to meet the tightness criterion L0.01 mg/(s·m) under operating conditions: medium pressure 35.3 bar and temperature of 150°C. 

We examined gasket sheets with comparable mechanical properties from five leading manufacturers. The results, organized alphabetically by manufacturer, are shown in the table. The Gambit AF-GL® gasket sheet  requires the least force to meet the set criteria across nearly the entire range from DN10 to DN600, making it the most favourable compared to other manufacturers' gasket sheets.
