GAMFLEX metal jacket gaskets

Flat gaskets cut from soft sealing material, enveloped with a metal jacket.

It is a combination of elasticity of a filler with chemical and mechanical resistance of metal jacket. Depending on requirements, high-temperature ceramic millboard or graphite gasket sheets can be used as the inner sealing material. The metal surface is made of acid-resistant steel.

A copper surface is also possible.

GAMFLEX cladded gaskets can be used in mounting and assembling systems, devices and machines in transport, power engineering, chemical industry and petrochemical industry. They are dedicated especially for areas where rapid changes of medium pressure occur.

Working conditions (parameters):
Depending on the type of filling and type of metal cover:

Temperature: -200÷550°C
Pressure: to 12 MPa

GAMFLEX A

Shell of gasket is made from one metal piece. On the forefront surface of the gasket an opening appears, however it does not bring the filler into contact with the sealed medium. Despite metal surrounding soft gasket material, the construction does not require high compressive stress. It is usually used for gaskets up to 8 mm wide.

GAMFLEX B

Shell of gasket is made from two metal parts according to a drawing. Such a construction allows for manufacturing gaskets wider than 8 mm and big diameter gaskets or non-standard shapes.

GAMFLEX Cu-BA
-elastic filler of heat-insulating millboard covered with copper sheet.

GAMFLEX SG
-elastic filler of expanded graphite covered with acid-resistant steel.
